GW:EN can be beaten in 6 hours or so I hear, however, only if you RUSH through it. I think all 18 of the dungeons take at least an hour, and are repeatable, plus the primaries, plus the minigames, plus the new skills for pvp... plus grinding for those who like that... PLENTY of stuff to do. I will admit that without the dungeons this game would be a complete rip off. So stop ignoring them because all you care about is reaching the end as fast as possible

I actually hope GW:EN doesn't have hard mode... it isn't needed. The game was DESIGNED for level 20s.

I finished the game as I wanted to see the main storyline and it was significantly easier than I expected and as such I found myself at the end sooner than I had hoped.
Hey, thats malice, he's kinda crazy imo ^^
But also, straight to the point.

Also, I think HM will come in a month or so.

I disagree that it isn't needed, and I'm thinking most of the people who beat the game in a day would also disagree with that. EOTN is every bit as easy as the other games,. In fact, EOTN is probably easier. Just look at the thread on the EOTN board of people who have beat the game already, it's unanimous that it wasn't hard to do. Therefore it is only logical to conclude that EOTN needs HM even morseo than the other games do.

However, I doubt EOTN will ever get a HM. If they wanted to do that chances are they would have incorporated it right from the outset of making EOTN, seeing as they already knew how to make a HM.

I disagree. I believe that Hard Mode is coming for EOTN but not for launch.

Also because all the end game greens are crap why would someone want to complete it again with there other characters?

To begin with... Proph, Faction, NF doesn't have HM until this year.

Just wait for a month or so. Things might turn out for the best later this year.

put it this way:

Would you like EotN out 2-4 weeks out later WIth HM?
OR
Would you like EotN out Now With HM coming out in hopefully 2-4 weeks?

theres alot of things they have to get done, and i would be suprised if HM wasnt out 2-4 weeks after launch.

Then why is it so darn easy? GW:EN is definitely easier than both Factions and Nightfall. Since it was so easy I was really hoping I could start playing hard mode so I could actually get some kind of challenge.

I'd say all the new content "designed for level 20s" is a bit pointless when you can literally c+space through it all.

May not be a popular opinion but I'd defintely have gone for the former. I would prefer the full experience at launch instead of waiting for small updates along upcoming months.

This reminds me of when Nightfall was released which also lacked a few major features which weren't released until much later after the game was launched. And I would have preferred the same back then, that the game main game was delayed so that it could have all the features it was supposed to have.

Just imagine how it would be with another game, I doubt people would be glad if a game like Halo 3 was released with only Easy mode selectable and all other difficulty modes removed.

i finished it in ~7 hours and i can't say i rushed. i simply followed the primary quest. when i got to the destroyer with 4 pugs and 3 henchies, we just went in to see what's it like. i didn't even have the proper monk elite and we ended up finishing the game.

maybe ppl just play bad and take a while to beat the game but that's not the case with all. the difficulty of missions was allright, but i think the great destroyer was way too easy compared to the lich, shiro or abbadon.

i wish the story was longer. i had hoped more things would happen and i was disappointed by the abrupt ending. i think there should be a hard mode or maybe something like an elite area.

I guess adding in time from preview I completed main storyline in about ~10-15hours, which is kinda short for an online RPG IMO.

I certainly didn't feel like I was rushing, and actually took time out to complete norn fighting tournament a few side quests and stuff. I prefer with these kind of games to complete the main story and then go back to do side quests (just doesn't feel right with the world in pressing danger and I'm taking time out to help some guy with his personal problems :P), so anyone who says "lolz u ruined your game experience" needs to shut up and accept the fact that other people have different play styles. I certainly didn't play through it for the end greens as well, seriously who gives a f--k? I have no interest in trading with other players or making loads of gold.

However there are the 18 dungeons, of which I have only one completed in my handbook (although I did do another one during the preview), so they will keep me entertained for a good while longer. However the main story line definitely felt shorter than even factions.

As for hard mode, I expect like others have said they will add it some time in the coming weeks/months, personally I'm not that bothered about it, but I'm sure it will make a lot of people happy. As for me I'm not complaining that I feel it wasn't worth the money, as I still have lots to do, I just wish that maybe the main storyline was a bit longer as that's the part I enjoy the most.

All the GWEN hate and whining is getting old fast. The main quest line isn't the bulk of the game, the dungeons are, because I think they figure veteran players are tired of being lead around by the nose through a linear story line (and then repeating it over and over). I, for one, appreciate that design decision. However, there really should be a hard mode. I hope it's forthcoming.

Show me someone who beat every dungeon, every quest, and every piece of the storyline in one day and I will agree.

I suspect they are seeing how NM plays out before setting the difficulty of HM

I'd prefer 2-4 weeks later, so they could actually fix things (online store/HM/quest bugs).

Now, lets see...

Was my comment aimed at YOU? No

How did I come to the conclusion the OP rushed because of greed? Well lets see...he posted it himself! wow! hard conclusion..

And again with the mod BS. I am entitled to my opinion, like it or not. I won't sugar coat my words. Stupidity should be bought in to the light. You only help people if you indulge their stupidity.

Much later on, at least several months down the road, I suspect there could possibly be a Hard Mode or possibly something even better, and probably other surprises as well. But if we knew about all that now, they wouldn't be surprises, now would they?

If all there was to the game was rushing through it only to get to double chest rewards, it would not be much of a game and I would not have bought it.

Yeah! It was a really easy expansion and don`t see the point. Just run from A to B and kill that or this.....blah...blah...blah... Absolute Bullshit!!!!

No damn way did any of you do it that easy with just heroes and hench. So what you fail to say is `WE` as in our guild or my friends and we rushed through the primary quests etc. etc.

Anyway now you can all go away and do something else, just leave us alone to enjoy a game the rest of us enjoy.
